Girls Camp!

I just went to girls camp for my first year and it was altogether pretty good. I enjoyed it. Especially ward night! That's when all the girls in our ward come for a campfire at night and play games and sing songs. Also, Brother Collit from our ward came down to girls camp for that night.
Well first of all I really wouldn't call this "camping," because there's cabins with bunk beds and mattresses on them. Also, there's ceiling fans and showers! Yeah, not really roughing it, but it was fun doing it that way anyways.

We also had certification groups where we learned to make donuts, set up tents, tie different kinds of knots and a lot more!

Also, we had skit night and the theme of camp this year was "Camping with the Stars" so there was skits like "Camping Idol," "Dancing with the Stars," and such. Ours was supposed to be "Star Wars." But, only a few people really knew what they were doing in it so we came up with a skit in ten min. for our ward and it has to do with this person just watching television and she flips to scuba diving with a star fish, star wars, and dancing with the stars. Ours was successful though! All of the first years, like me, got blankets that the young women secretly made. And they presented them to us at camp!

Oh yeah! I almost forgot! I got a bee sting . The bee went into a hole in my crocs and stung me on the foot. My friend Lilli was the one to notice that it was a bee sting. I just knew it hurt! I had to go to the nurse's office except it was air conditioned!

I met a lot of new friends but I made three really good friends from the buffalo ward named Rachel, Joslin, and Magoli. They are really nice to me! My name is Jillie and I have a friend named Lilli from the same ward and they really liked how r names rhymed and everything so they made their names like Milly, Billy, and so on. It was cool! Like the Jillie and Lilli club!

We also got paper plate awards and mine was Non-Complainer!

I had a really fun time at camp, but the best part was being with my mom!
